PI1 Library personnel invest time and resources to cultivate and promote an organizational climate of mutual respect, shared curiosity, collegiality, collaboration, learning, and celebration.

Outcome: Library personnel have the opportunity to attend at least one DEI professional development event/activity each month.

Criteria: At least 12 DEI professional development opportunities are provided to UL staff per year.

Evidence: Hours of training provided by University Library

Responsible Unit/Area: Library Administration

Assessment Year: 2020-21

FY 2021 Results: Library administration provided 13 hours of training in four sessions in 2021.

Discussion: While four training sessions is good, this is below the 12 we had hoped to provide. Lingering COVID burnout and extra administrative tasks due to COVID likely contributed to that lower number of training hours and sessions.

PI2 Library personnel, including student employees, receive consistent and specific performance feedback and coaching.

PI3 Library personnel staffing levels, assignments, structure, skills, training, and evaluation are aligned and directly reflective of the Library's vision, mission, and strategic priorities.

PI4 Library personnel recognize their role in preserving the environment by observing sustainable business practices and making effective use of available resources.
