Philosophy on Librarianship

Hannah J. Craven (she/her) is the Research & Scholarly Communications Librarian at the Ruth Lilly Medical Library at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM). She has a Bachelor of Arts in both Integrative Physiology and Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder (2012), and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Denver (2018). Hannah fosters lifelong learning by increasing information literacy through instruction and reference interactions. She supports IUSM students, faculty, and staff in every part of Scholarly Communication, from the beginning of the research lifecycle to the promotion of published works and online presence. Her research data management experience has given her the opportunity to co-author systematic reviews and maintain the IUSM collections in the institutional repository. Some of Hannah’s contributions to state-wide and international projects have been financially supported by grants from external funders. You can see a complete list of her works on her ORCiD profile and find her on Twitter: @HannahC_MLIS.
