If you are from the IU School of Medicine and you need help with Covidence, please use the medlref@iu.edu to contact a Medical Librarian for assistance with your query. You can also contact Covidence directly at support@covidence.org.
Covidence is a web-based software that was originally designed to make systematic reviews as easy as possible to conduct and synthesize. You can join the IU Covidence account using your email from any of the IU campuses, and you can invite others to join your review from anywhere in the world. This makes collaborating easy, and you'll stop having to share numerous Endnote libraries or Excel files with multiple reviewers. In 2015, Covidence was selected by Cochrane to become the standard production platform for Cochrane Reviews.
As a web-based software, you can review titles, abstracts, or full-text PDFs anywhere that you have an internet connection. The software can also be used in the classroom for teaching students how to conduct comprehensive reviews, or with any type of literature review that requires one or more reviewers.
