Indiana Agencies and Regulations

Regulations issued by the ICRC are found in Title 910 of the Indiana Administrative Code. Those relevant to employment discrimination are found in Article 1 and Article 3.

For issues dealing with labor and employment law rather than discrimination, go to the Indiana Department of Labor.

Other State Statutes

To find employment discrimination laws in other states:

  1. An effective first step beginning is to run a Google search for: "employment discrimination" {state name}. This is likely to turn up the state agency tasked with enforcing employment discrimination laws, and agency websites usually have links to the relevant statutes and regulations.
  2. The next step is to use an annotated statutory code on Westlaw or Lexis. Annotated codes give you citations for cases interpreting and applying the laws, related statutes, and even secondary sources.
