Citing Your Sources

Interlibrary Loan

Is there an article you need that we do not own?

Try requesting it through our InterLibrary Loan (ILL) service. Just login to the ILL system using your IU Login, and submit a request.

Off-Campus Access

You can access almost all of the library's databases from home so long as you are an IUPUI student, staff, or faculty member. Simply input your OnCourse username and password when prompted.

Get a VPN

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection allows you to act as part of IU's network when you're off campus. This makes using library databases more seamless since you will not have to constantly input your username and password whenever you use a database.

Pop Up Blockers

Some databases use popup windows to display search results or extra options. Popup blockers may be installed as part of a browser toolbar, as part of your browser, as part of your virus protection software, or even as a separate program. Make sure that you check this feature in your preferences so that you can take advantage of all of the database's capabilities.
